Introduction Course 5 explores the Neutron concept for the greening of the district heating of Kozani which was developed by the Solar-Insitut Jülich of the FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences together with Neutron industrial project partners. This innovative concept represents a significant advancement in sustainable energy solutions for district heating systems. Who is this course for? This course is also suitable for everyone who want to know more about the findings of the NEUTRON project. Entry requirements There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Learning Objectives After completing Course 5, participants will be able to: • Understand one of the main TES technologies the GHM • Evaluate the application of Neutron concept for District Heating Systems • Know the EU landscape on Thermal Storage technologies integration for District Heating Systems Modules 1. An Advanced Thermal Energy Storage system: The Green Heat Module 2. NEUTRON’s findings on Greening of the District Heating System of Kozani 3. Neutron concept as a blueprint for climate neutral cities Accreditations Participants after the completion of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
